If there was one thing that any man could do to improve his overall health and it took only 45 minutes a day – that would be a pretty good return from our point of view. And according to a recent Harvard study, such a thing does exist when you exercise. Okay, so we already know that 45 minutes of sweating will trim your sides, bolster your immunity, and strengthen your heart and organs – but we weren’t entirely sold on the fact of it helping the organ in your head until now.
According to Harvard, regular exercise will combat depression over the long haul. Yes, there is a lot of medication out there designed to address the problem of anxiety and depression, but nothing can beat the long-term effect and lack of negative side effects than the act of a good old-fashioned workout regimen. And it does not need to be a grueling regimen to get these effects – all you’ve really got to do is get out there and move!
