Punch Up Your Workout with a Boxing System

Back in the day, most boxing/kung fu systems consisted of a giant log, a few sticks, and a lot of bruising and splinters.

The slam man entered the market a couple years ago, offering cushioned padding, preset workout routines, and a relatively compact solution to those who are bored with the standard treadmill, stepper, and row machine.

I can say from experience, that while I like this machine, it is not exactly what you’d call heavy duty, or a serious training tool. If you are a guy with iron clad fists, or a background in mixed martial arts, the slam man may disappoint. The punch zones are all from the waist up, and there is no usable feedback on your technique or striking force.

However, there is another option called the Nexersys.

The Nexersys Home Unit ($3000) is an intuitive boxing machine that allows you to create profiles that will track your progress, including your accuracy, force, and history. It is made for the professional athlete in mind, so it is not only strong and durable, but will look positively awesome in your man-cave. Buy it here.

The basic unit is about all your average guy will need. However, it also comes in a PRO Unit ($7000) that will most likely outlast the carcass of the Titanic. Buy it here.
