First dates are great until you make that first mistake. Especially when you realize that most women don’t give a guy a second chance. These are five of the most common mistakes men make, and we strongly suggest that you not do them anymore… starting with:
Using Your Phone– Admit it, you leave your phone on during a first date, just in case something more interesting comes along. Even if you don’t actually use it in front of her, it is still rude. If you want bonus points, let your phone go off once during your date, and turn it off immediately. This will show that she is important to you, while giving the subtle hint, that you may be in demand.
Bad Manners– The littlest things bother a girl on a first date, such as being rude to the waiter/waitress, chewing your food while talking, and slamming every other door in her face
TMF– Women have a nifty trick of acting interested in just about everything a guy has to say. The result is verbal diarrhea, where you confess everything from cheating in your 5th grade spelling bee, to playing around on your last girlfriend. Never give too much information about yourself. A little bit of mystery goes a long way.
Poor Style– Ninety percent of women admit they would not go out with a guy again if he wore flip flops, shorts, and a Beavis and Butthead t-shirt. Part of being a gentleman is looking like one.
Indecisive– It has come to our attention that a lot of “sensitive guys” are losing their machismo on the way to the front door of every first date. Girls like to feel respected, but they also prefer a man with a plan. What impresses a girls is not a wishy-washy attitude about what to do, but the ability to ask her in advance what she likes, and choose the evenings events accordingly.
