Blood and Bones: The HYT Skull Bad Boy Watch

HYT-SkullBadBoy

We were wondering what $100,000 could buy you these days, as far as a meaty gentleman’s watch with a pair of titanium cojones. The HYT Skull Bad Boy became one of our favorite answers.

Tradition of a Samurai Sword

The skull itself is made by the same tradition of the Samurai sword. It has been rolled with layers of steel and carbon no less than 256 times in order to achieve its bulk. And being that this process takes the talent of a craftsman, rather than a programmed robot, each skull emerges with its own class and character – yeah, we like that.

Blood and Bones

The black accents within this watch may appear to be defined with epoxy, but they are actually an opaque liquid developed to adapt to the watches movement. In a sense it is the essential ‘blood’ reserve of the watch, and yet it will leave no trace of itself on any of the watches internal components – it is very clean.

The case is a full 51mm, and its exterior coating is a process of microblasting DLC titanium until perfection is achieved. There will only be 50 of these crafted by the HYT brand, and if we were a gentleman with the means, we would certainly consider adding one to our collection.
