Ken block is one of the most awesome men we know. He’s been the face behind our favorite Spy sunglasses; he’s taught us how to ice skate and drift like a man—and this month he is demonstrating how to model underwear like one.
“I never once in my life thought that I’d be an underwear ambassador – nor did I ever think I’d have the type of body that qualified me for that sort of job,” said Ken on being the new face of SAXX. “I mean, I enjoy a six pack; I just normally have to pick it up at the local store.”
And in celebration, SAXX recently released 100 pairs of celebratory Kinetic Long Legs in his favorite colors (green and navy). And yeah, we were lucky enough to snag a pair for ourselves (Thanks to a little help from our freinds). We’ve reviewed SAXX’s Vibe everyday underwear in the past and absolutely loved them. However, their new Kinetic Performance wear takes it up a couple notches.
They are made of a sturdy 4-way stretch mesh fabric that really holds everything in place. It is moisture-wicking, breathable, comfortable and extra long in the legs which adds up to even more support. I took these out on the track, to the gym, on the basketball court… and they were very impressive.
The mesh fabric hugs tightly to your body, but the soft interior keeps the extra pressure undercover—meaning that you still kind of forget you have them on. They are very flexible when you need them to be, and I was really impressed with how cool they stayed. These are a very competitive addition to the wearable tech market. But let’s get back to Ken on his new career path as an ambassador of underwear.
“I’m stoked that I’m now joining some of the well-known male underwear model greats like David Beckham and Justin Bieber,” gushed Ken. “Well, at least in the sense that I am associated with underwear—I can confidently say that I’ve finally arrived… in the underwear section at least.”
