Imagine diving over 80 feet deep into the cold clear waters of Bali, armed with nothing more than a priceless gown by designer, Ali Charisma; your experience and the air in your lungs. That is what a handful of women did for Montreal photographer, Benjamin Von Wong.

These photos were all taken off the coast of Bali where an ancient shipwreck has laid dormant for years. The silhouettes of these beautiful women really brings the decaying ruins to life. But don’t try this at home guys (especially not in your own bathtub), as the results will most certainly not be the same.

These women are all certified divers, capable of holding their breath for at least three to four minutes each dive… and that includes working their butts off to get themselves where they needed to be before each shot could be focused and snapped. And also having themselves tied to the boat (anchored to the rock) much of the time by a team of assistant divers, so that all the details and lighting could be worked out ahead of time.

And now that you’ve seen these stunning stills, watch the video of all the work that went on behind the scenes of this amazing shoot. Absolutely inspiring!
