4 Sneakers To Help You Stand Out This Spring

Converse-Feature-LV-0480_1024x1024

Our fashion belief is not to stand out like a tattoo on your nose, or blend in too much like a blue polo shirt on a golf course. But you know something? That is one of the great things about a pair of sneakers. They can come with a statement as bold as you dare to be, and yet as long as your put together properly over the top, you’ve got nothing to worry about.

With that in mind, we enlisted the help of our friends at East Dane and Details (or should we rather say, #MyDetails) to help us dish out some sneaks that will help you stand out this Spring, and do it in comfort and style. Like this:

Converse X John Varvatos
All Star Double Zip Sneakers

We’re big fans of Converse sneakers, but we’ve become even more so now that John Varvatos has brought us his rock and roll version to the plate. These leather sneakers are tough, yet soft where it counts, including its leather uppers and cushioning on the insoles. If you haven’t tried on a pair of Converse in awhile, don’t let their old school, rustic look fool you. These are one of the most comfortable sneakers you will ever own.

Alexander Wang
Ash Neoprene High Top Sneakers

We like chukka boots in the office, high top sneakers on the street, and neoprene slip-ons at the beach. However, when you meld the three together you get one giant beach party, known as the Ash Neoprene High Tops by Alexander Wang. These streamlined sneaks are also very comfortable, classic-styled and offer just the right amount of warmth and coverage for a cool Spring evening.

Adidas by Raf Simons
Raf Simons Bounce Sneakers

We love the Adidas Bounce sneakers, as they feel absolutely fantastic on your feet, especially after a long day. Well, Raf Simons has added a bit more pizzazz to these by integrating the ‘shoe within a shoe’ design philosophy and building onto its already unique set of footprints with an eclectic mix of prints and resin inlets. Yeah, these are a bit wild, but they are the good kind of wild.

Marc Jacobs
Leather High Top Sneakers

Marc Jacobs knows how to blend modern performance with classic style, and these leather high-top sneakers are a good example of that. These have been crafted in Italy with a nice selection of materials, including smooth leather, suede trim and vinyls panels to add a touch of color and endurance. And as we have experienced with most of Jacobs sneakers, these are very comfortable and really do transfer well from the office to the street and then into the gym without blinking an ‘eyelet’. This is one high top sneaker that can do it all.
