Patrick Dempsey’s Porsche 911 GT3 RS

When McDreamy isn’t playing doctor on the television series Grey’s Anatomy, you’ll either find him at the races (IndyCar Series, Le Mans 24-hour, Daytona), or cruising around town in one of his classic or hardcore street machines. A few of the highlights from Patrick’s collection, includes a 1969 Mercedes-Benz 280SE (given by his wife as a birthday present), a 1954 Jaguar XK120, 1973 Jaguar E-Type, Panoz Esperante GT, and 2007 Lotus Exige S.

Despite these impressive offerings, our favorite is still his Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Her lines and neon-orange highlights may be its initial impression. However, beyond her screaming warpaint, is a feat of custom engineering and design. This Porsche GT3 features an upgraded air filter, intake manifold, sport exhaust, and lithium-ion battery. A host of lightweight chassis modifications replace the standard GT3 equipment with an assortment of aluminum, titanium, and carbon fiber. The reward is 450 horsepower, 193 mph, and zero to sixty in 3.8 seconds.
